So, I'm off to the airport to pick up a black lab puppy. She's 10 weeks old. This is her mom....http://beechcroftlabradors.com/ballerina.htmland this is her dad...http://beechcroftlabradors.com/studyped.htmland this is her grandparent on both sides. Hehe, he gets around...http://beechcroftlabradors.com/charmerped.htmlI have one already, I won't bore you with the details, but she's so so cute, I love her like a child of mine. How she's going to take her new friend, I don't know. Anyway, like I said, way off topic, sorry, but just had to share it and you've all been friends of mine. So there. billg

Hey All,Way to go Bill! We have a lab and it's our second. We got ours from here:http://www.stonypointkennels.com/Litters.htm#BreezexRockyOur dog is from this mating and from the June 11, 2003 litter. She is wonderful and even though born in Iowa has adapted to Alberta Canada well. :) and yes she came to us on an airplane - we picked her up in Calgary.I see you've gone the showdog route while we wanted retriever performance. Either way labs are wonderful dogs.Enjoy the new pup and good luck not having everything in sight chewed up. :) Take Care! -Ed-

My German Shephards came in from Washington and Oregon on Alaskan and Continental - the handlers were real pleased when we came in and picked up the male, 'cause you could hear him outside the building! He still glares at every jet that goes over the house...DJ

hey Ed, nice looking dogs! So, we got back, and Pippa loved the puppy. So did I, which became too readily apparent to Pippa, who started to growl and snarl. So I had to put the puppy back in her crate, take pippa upstairs and shut the door and cuddle her for close to an hour. Ever since, it's been fine. I guess the moral of the story is that you have to be sensitive...billg

Hope you stay one happy family.Dogs are great, wish I could have one but my lifestyle and dogs just don't mix (small house, single person, away to work from early morning to early evening). My favourites are Samoyeds (http://www.samoyed.org).http://www.hornet.demon.nl/photos/Laika239587.jpg

Just gotta love the Labs. This is our "Grand Puppy Casey" after recent ACL surgery. Poor guy just looks pathetic but he is doing very well after less then 2 weeks. He is 5 years old but thinks he is still a puppy. Our daughters dog and only "grand child" and of course very spoiled.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/104607.jpgSteve A
