Unicom folder chatter

Featured Replies

When using chatter in 'airport folder' mode, where do I put my unicom sound files?

Also would be useful to know where to put General Central files when at small airports such as KELN

unicom folder??

WT80 folder??

Paul,

Thanks for the question.  At present, there is no UNICOM/CTAF folder as there are no controllers on those frequencies.  However, I'll add it to the list of enhancements to allow for a Chatter Folder for these frequencies.

If you have the Airports Chatter option checked and there is no folder for the an airport named KELN, for example, then the chatter folder for that country or region will be used.  So, when implementing the Airports Chatter option, you just need to have all the controller folders in both the airports and the Country/Region folders to ensure you'll get something even when the Airport is missing.

Regards,

Dave

Thanks Dave,

That's cool.

I did finally notice that if I just dropped some chatter files in the KELN route folder then they would play, which is fine. However will try the controller folders for centre etc.

Cheers

Paul
