Radar Contact error pop up on install

Featured Replies

I have recently today bought Radar Contact V4 to enhance my fsx experience and to avoid using the default ATC however on installing it there seems to be some kind of issue at the end of the install. An error pops saying 'Your FSX installation is incorrect!. The version of SimConnect installed will not load FSUIPC. You may want to repair the FSX installation to rectify this first. No changes have been made by this program', I'm unsure what it means or what's happening so any help would be appreciated. however after I ok the error radar contact allows me to finish it's install.

Thanks

Ryan Gregg

http://forum.simflight.com/topic/80977-updated-modules/ and download the lastest full version of fsuipc4 and install. The one on your installation file is too old. Be sure to read the notes. You might have to browse to your FSX folder if the fsuipc installer can not find it.

Be sure you are running the RC installer selecting Run as Admin from its properties. After you create a shortcut to it adjust its properties to Run As Admin.

http://forum.simflight.com/topic/66136-useful-additional-programs/ is where you need to get the latest makerwys.exe. Put that into your FSX folder and then run RC's scenery rebuild again.

Be sure you enter the full correct path to your FSX folder when asked.

Check out the thread on 713 errors as Windows no longer includes some of the ocx and dll files on order for RC to run.
