January 18, 200620 yr I was browsing though the fsstation.com tutorials and I found something very interesting. A really great idea.Take a look: http://www.fsstation.com/tutorials/approachplates.htmlNotice that in the end of the page there is a link for an approach plate Google Earth overlay. If you download that file and load it in Google Earth, the approach plate shows up exactly over the SFO landscape and you can see it from all angles!!! :DMaybe someone could do some other approach plate overlays!
January 18, 200620 yr Fantastic! I'm going to try something with some of my maps.I'll let you knowFrancesco
January 18, 200620 yr It's kinda tricky, but I guess it can be done if you have enough patience and time, hehehe!
January 18, 200620 yr Wow I knew there was a VFR sectional overlay for GoogleEarth (http://www.googleearthhacks.com/downloads/search.php)but I had no idea approach plates were available as well. Woops I misread that. It's only an approach chart for SFO.
