  1. Wow those shots are amazing. I thought SimSavvy was only North America though. When did he release scenery for Africa?
  2. *sigh* Can a moderator change the title of this thread since the product is not out yet? I was digging for my credit card but it turns out it was nothing but an announcement. Thanks, OP. :(
  3. Yes, same here. I finally got fed up and spam blocked them.
  4. I did a fresh install of Windows 8 and I still cannot get the LevelD 767 to run properly at all. Can you do a long flight in it without any issues? It doesn't freeze up on you in flight?
  5. How large (storage wise) are the states in SimSavvy?
  6. Holy smokes, I was not aware of that!
  7. So SimSavvy is now partnered with the MegaScenery people? His package is no longer for sale? I guess that's what I get for not getting it sooner and now we're stuck with Megascenery and for the price of SimSavvy (and a hard drive) you'll be lucky to buy a state or two versus all of NA before joining with Megascenery.
  8. For those of you running Windows8, are there any compatibility issues with the MD-11?
  9. I haven't noticed a change an increase or decrease in performance coming from Win 7 but I will caution others out there that you may run into compatibility issues with some of your addons. Specifically, the Level D 767 and the Eaglesoft Cirrus SR22 won't run with Windows 8. On the Level D forums the canned response is 'Windows 8 is not supported' and judging from the feedback who knows when or if it will get a patch to run on Windows 8. Such a shame as it's one of my all time favorite addons but Win8 has grown on me and I've changed my mind about going back to Win7. With regards to the Eaglesoft Cirrus, that's the only Eaglesoft product I own so I can't speak for their other planes when it comes to Win 8 compatibility.

Any other Win8 users here have trouble running FSX with either the Level D 767 or Eaglesoft's Cirrus SR22? I ask because I'm going down my list of addons that are giving me trouble and so far those 2 aren't playing nicely for me. For some reason they both cause FSX to freeze up for several seconds at a time whether I'm flying or clicking through the menus. Eventually FSX will crash altogether. If I remove them then FSX will run just fine. I'm not sure wha to make of this problem as I never had this issue under Win7. Edit: this is with a fresh install of Windows 8.
  11. I returned my copy to Flight1. I'll probably pick it up later sometime down the road after a service pack has been released but so far it's been a big disappointment for me with regards to bugs and performance. Flight1 has a 30 day refund policy so it won't hurt to buy and try it.
  12. Blurry textures here as well with 4096 enabled.
  13. Hey is there a way to make the yoke disappear as I do all of my flying from the VC and yokes just get in my way.
  14. Froogle, were you able to pinpoint which addon was causing the trouble?
  15. Color me skeptical but was that video recorded with FS Recorder and played back at 30+ FPS? If not, I'd love to see how he got that sweet framerate in the VC.
  16. Dreamliner 727? You mean the Dreamfleet 727? Boy, I'd die a happy simmer if that were ported over to FSX. Definitely one of my all time favorite birds.
  17. I think that's a wise choice. There's a diamond in the rough here and I'm sure after several iterations of patching it will shape up to be a stellar package but for now I can't recommend it in its current state for 50 bucks.
  18. It's certainly one of the most user unfriendly programs I've ever used but once it's up and running it's hard to fly FSX without it. The devloper has a YouTube channel walking you through on how to configure Ezdok with your stick. Be sure to bookmark it or add it to your favorites for when you have to do a reinstall as it's easy to forget how to get Ezdok running smoothly again. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7i9V47pDh3Y&feature=plcp
  19. Is this slated to be a 2012 release? I cannot wait to get my hands on this bird.
  20. That's fantastic news. Do you have the Eaglesoft SR22? Was it easy to integrate the RXP 430 into it/
  21. Will the Eaglesoft Cirrus display route data from the Reality XP 430 units or is it driven solely by the native FSX GPS?
  22. Just a guess but I think the DC9 pit will be much easier on your frame rate due to the lack of glass panels.
  23. Is there a cockpit texture upgrade available for the default 172? It hasn't aged well at all.
  24. Does FSUIPC work with P3D? Or for that matter, do you even need FSUIPC in P3D at all?
  25. Is it possible to display my RealityXP GNS 530W on a second computer? I have a Lenovo tablet PC that has a touch sensitive screen and I would be thrilled if I can pipe the 530 to the laptop so that I can interact with using my touch display. Is this even possible? If so, how?
