June 1, 20179 yr Haven't bought V4 yet and was wondering if anyone already using it could clarify a question. Will any existing sceneries which do not contain dll files and photoreal sceneries work in V4? Obviously I'm referring to those sceneries already installed in version 3.4 which could be copied across to the V4 scenery.cfg. Grateful for feddback. June 1, 20179 yr A simple rule would be if the scenery object was made using the FSX or previous P3D compiled MDL file(s) and other compilers, yes. I'm not sure about FS9 compiled MDL files, but somebody else might be. Evidently, older ground techniques (circa 2002) have been dropped and there has been a lot of airports made during the past decade that used this method of design.
