I am new to P3D v4 and I have the same issue with the ugly light green trees.

I unticked Dynamic 3D Autogen Vegetation in the Graphics \ World setup but some trees are still light green. I have FTX Trees HD installed as well as all the the FTX usual - Global Base, NA Open LC, NA Pacific Northwest

My apologies - my oversight in not reading the very clear instruction that when you check or uncheck you need to restart P3D for it take  effect.

So all is well - the trees are just fine.
