June 11, 20178 yr Hi Everyone I am a long time vanilla FSX user that never swung across to previous versions of P3D. I have just paid for and currently downloading P3D V4. My intial question is should I install it in the default location or some other place. I have access to all the FTX Global, OLC NA and EU plus a number of FSDT sceneries. Once P3D is installed are there any tips or traps in regard to setting all this up or is it as simple as following your nose? Any advice for a totally novice P3D user would be appreciated. June 11, 20178 yr I Install it in its own folder, outside program files - seems safer. As for beginning, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the lack of tweaking required to get started. Just install your Orbx scenery via FTX central, load up the default A36 and get flying.
