June 20, 20178 yr This was from the other day, a nice VFR flight in the Cheyenne down to Red Wing, MN... Along the way you can see the lovely scenic bluffs from the Mississippi River. Initially I departed KMSP eastbound, towards St Paul (capital of MN), and then followed the river SE. Eventually it meets up with the Minnesota River and farther down (near Red Wing KRGK), the river expands into a large Lake, Lake Pepin. From there, well, it goes all the way down to the Gulf of Mexico of course in New Orleans. Anyway, this is P3D v4 with pretty much stock textures. Leaving Minneapolis behind St Paul KSTP airport below South St Paul (non towered) KSGS The two Rivers meet Although fairly flat, the farmlands south of the big city are actually pretty nice and peaceful. It's where I lived in my teen years. Coming up on Red Wing About to turn base, but you can see how large the river becomes near Lake Pepin Final Ry 27 KRGK Going enjoy a $1000 hamburger LOL | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
