June 24, 20178 yr Hello! I'm trying "to plant" some trees around some airports using the TreePlanter. The problem is after start the FS9 and trying run the TreePlanter, appears a message "No connection to FS2004". I have FSUIPC licensed and it is the latest version. What can I do to solve this? Regards. Cláudio
June 26, 20178 yr First, be sure FS9 is running with a flight loaded such as where you are working. That is necessary if Tree Planter needs FSUIPC 3 running to connect to FS9 typically to see where you are going to place "trees" or other object. Then start Tree Planter. Be sure you have set the path to your main FS9 folder where FS9.exe is located and its module folder where FSUIPC3 is located. Some apps will pull that from the Win registry. Typically a scenery utility will need to look at your scenery.cfg file which it should be able to figure out. You may need to run Tree Planter in Administrator mode. Find the .exe that starts it, right click on it and select run as administrator. For diagnostics go to your modules folder under FS9 which is where FSUIPC is located. With notepad open fsuipc.log. See if there is anything about Tree Planter trying to connect to it. Do this after you have tried to run Tree Planter. Close FS9 and then look at that log file in fsuipc without opening FS9 again since it is renewed every time you run FS9. Just to be sure the latest FSUIPC3 is here as well as patches: http://forum.simflight.com/topic/80977-updated-modules/ Notice the full version is there as well. Read the note about which FSUIPC version you need depending upon which your FSUIPC purchase date was.
