737NGX Control column does not show up and no FMC CDU

I purchased PMDG 737 NGX . It installed and activated. the VC is running but the control column is not present, nor is the FMC CDU present. Everything else seems to be okay.

What simulator are you using? You said it activated, does that mean that when the NGX loaded you had the 20 sec initialization (a visible countdown in a text bar on the screen)?
