I have tried to create ortho tiles twice using the BI download for the area off Long Beach Ca.  +33 -119 that contains Catalina Island but for some reason Catalina Island has no satellite topography, just all tan with the runway inserted but nothing else.

I also created all the adjacent tiles and all the other islands off the coast are rendered with the satellite images as they should be.

Has anyone seen this or can someone tell me if they get Catalina Island rendered correctly using Ortho4xp with a Global Scenery Overlay. I have used zoom 17 and BI. All of the rest of the entire West coast of Ca is rendered fine except Catalina Island?

I had the same problem Joe and I ended up redoing most of California using USA_2 which has good coverage and more consistent colors.

Or if it's just Catalina that's bothering you, you could use MistrX6's scenery. It includes orthos for the complete island.

Ironically I have that installed and placed at the top with other airports I'm thinking it may be conflicting with the Ortho tile or overlay ? I'll remove it and see.
