February 7, 200620 yr Author I think perhaps he is right re: AI. All I can remember doing is updating AI textures when I really didn't mean too. I'll try the flight as soon as possible with AI disabled. If that does the trick then I'll uninstall and reinstall Ultimate Traffic and see what happens. I appreciate everyone's help in this matter. I won't be able to test the flight till late Wed. or early Thur. as my schedule is kinda screwy for the next two days. (work). I'll be certain to let you folks know the outcome. Craig
February 8, 200620 yr Author Hey Guys, Bingo!! AI Traffic set to 0 and I don't encounter the CTD. Thanks for helping to identify the problem. Now I'll just have to uninstall and reinstall Ultimate Traffice and see what happens. I really hate when these glitches happen especially when I probably caused it myself ! Will let you know what happens so at least the next person can learn from my screw up. Thanks again. Craig
February 9, 200620 yr Author Hey guys, Uninstalled and reinstalled Ultimate Traffic and all is well. No more CTD. Thanks for all your help. Much appreciated. Craig
February 9, 200620 yr You're welcome and thanks for reporting back on your success for the benefit of future searchers. It was good troubleshooting on your part to specifically remember the most recent changes you made to the sim.The whole thing is slightly ridiculous anyway, why can't the sim generate a simple error log entry like "error loading AI texture file"? We'll probably see men walk on Mars before we see an error log entry like that however. ;-)
February 10, 200620 yr Author Found this response in answer to another user with a CTD problem. I'm gonna give it a try as it is freeware. Craig Hello,Try : http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/Filemon.htmlit will trace all the files accesses , if you use the "filter" you can limit the trace the FS9 files. So you can "see" the latest files accessed before the CTD. This will help to find.It did for me.EmileEBBR Brussels
