How do you just change plane in X-Plane 11

In the new X-Plane 11, when you change plane it trows you back to the original airport, in X-Plane 10 once you were at an airport, you could just change plane and remains at that sam airport

What you say it's true, don't know if it is a bug or not. In any case, a possible workaround is to re-select the appropriate current location after having selected the new aircraft, but before selecting "Start new flight".

The problem with this, is it then takes another 30 minutes before it goes back to the airport, because it has to re-read all the scenery available in X-Plane

Yes, this was a little disappointing. You cannot insert yourself into the current situation with a different aircraft.

Would be very nice.
