July 11, 20178 yr My PC just installed (on its own...) the Creator´s update. On the beginning I just got minor issues but today it surfaced a major one - my home network has been messed up! I made a search and it seems this is a very common issue, It seems it is a Creator´s update driven problem. In my case my main PC (that has the Creator´s update) sees OK my laptop but I cannot access my main PC from the laptop (nor can I have access to the FS shared drives/folders). It requests a username/password to access but I don´t have any! Does anyone faced this issue and most importantly has a solution? Those I found at the net didn´t solve this problem. Thanks in advance Edmundo Azevedo
July 12, 20178 yr Author It seems I fixed this issue (...not quite sure how, anyway...). Edmundo Azevedo
July 19, 20178 yr Sounds like it is trying to re-establish sharing permissions after the update. What exactly does the window that wants the username and password say? I had to verify my Microsoft ID recently. Bob i5, 16 GB ram, GTX 960, FS on SSD, Windows 10 64 bit, home built works anyway.
