New System P3D v4 Settings Suggestions

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'll be receiving a new high end system soon.

i7700K 4.2-4.5GHz, quad core overclocking 20%

GeForce 1080Ti 11GB GDDR5X (considering dual 16GB)

Supernova 850 power

500 GB 958 2280 SSD

I'd welcome any  links to suggested  P3D v4 settings.

Thanks, Eagle

Search this AVSIM, Rob posted a wonderful guide educating us about what each setting does. foe P3Dv4.

Crank them all up and go from there. I have a similar system not OC'd. Display resolution? 16x AF; 4XMSAA; 2048x2048 textures. 2560x1440

On terrain and scenery objects I have everything on MAX (to the right). Water detail special effects all to the max right.

HDR lighting enabled. Bightness, bloom, saturation set to various levels. Dynamic lighting on and all checked there except dynamic reflections off. Shadow quality and draw distance both medium.

Getting very good performance. Only problem is night at payware airports if you use SS then you'll take a hit so I leave MSAA on the entire time.
