Hi All,

I am somewhat confused:huh: Is this program being supported or not? If so - where so? I saw a couple of posts saying the owner has moved on but then new releases have appeared since???

My main problem at the moment is getting a reliable connection. When a friend and I try to fly together he can see me all the time however it is random whether I can see him or not. Anyone have any ideas?

I am running Prepar3d V4 he is running V3

Cheers

Harry

Hello Harry,

Reports I've heard said very good things about the program, but regardless of how terrific a program is we are all limited by things which affect the quality of our Internet service and how our computers are setup.

The problems that you describes leads me to believe that it's your computer or Internet connection that is causing the problem, and there is no possible way for me (or anyone else) to tell you what the problem is. You're just going to have to investigate this to find and resolve the issue.

I wrote two guides which should help you, the Shared Cockpit Setup and Shared Cockpit Troubleshooting Guide (both pinned to the top of this forum). Even though the guides were written with  Shared Cockpit in mind, networking is networking. The guides have helped over a hundred people resolve their connection issues, but I'll tell you now that you skipping through them instead of reading them cover to cover would be the same was wasting your time. Take the time to really go through them and they'll help you identify your issues whether they are internal or external.

When you get this resolved, would you be kind enough to stop back by to let us know what you did to resolve things?

I wish you all the best!
