I tried to use the Safari trick to make the remote CDU work like an app on my iphone, but when it opens, the bottom part is black (CDU does not fill the screen)  and top status bar is still there.

Is there any way to make it truly full screen?

can you please post a screenshot?

The display should scale but preserve the aspect ratio.
On your iPhone in portrait mode, you will typically have empty space towards the bottom as otherwise the CDU image would need to be stretched, making it look weird.
