LatinVFR KSAN on P3Dv4 - Solved

Featured Replies

I've installed LatinVFR_KSAN_P3Dv4_1.3  but all buildings are missing from the scenery. Orbx vectors is installed and contains only one file ABP_KSAN.bgl . No matter whether active or disabled the scenery fails to show up. Feedback appreciated from users who may have had this issue and managed to solve it.

Update - Solved

Before installer 1.3 I had installed version 1.2 which created and XML file in the P3dv4 Addons folder with the following:

<SimBase.Document Type="AddOnXml" version="4,0" id="add-on">

<AddOn.Name>Key West_KEYW</AddOn.Name>
<AddOn.Description>Key West_KEYW</AddOn.Description>

<AddOn.Component>
<Category>Scenery</Category>
<Path>D:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\LatinVFR\San Diego_KSAN</Path>
<Name>Key West_KEYW</Name>
</AddOn.Component>

</SimBase.Document>

V1.2 installer created an incorrect xml as shown above in red and therefore P3D couldn't find the scenery, then when I upgraded to v1.3 installer didn't  update the xml, which meant having to delete the KSAN scenery folder and reinstall v1.3 which in turn created a new and correct xml.

I thought it was interesting that in order to get the P2d v4 package you have to purchase it all over again. So far it is the only add-on of mine that has required it.
