Engine exhaust flame animation

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

is anyone else having issue not seeing the engines exhaust flame animation on the aircraft?  I set everything and all sliders to max in Prepar3D v.4 and still nothing. I even uninstalled and reinstalled it. I'm a little stumped on this one.

Unless someone directs you to do this. It's usually wasted effort (and can cause additional issues). Avoid it unless instructed.

As far as your issue goes, dynamic lighting enabled? Using shaders/tweaks/mods?

Dynamic is enabled.  shaders sliders are in the 80's on HDR. everything else is full right.

Okay.

Where are you trying to observe the effect? Ground? Air? Climb? Descent?

Yeah. Keep in mind that flames coming out of the stacks would logically only happen when you're dumping copious amounts of fuel into a cylinder.
