Following the announcement by the French Sécurité Civile to buy a new batch of Dash8 Q400MR for aerial firefighting, I am seriously considering having a go at the Majestic Dash8. What I find really disappointing in most addons is that they don't "punish" you if you don't observe the flight parameters (engine torque, hard landing, over g and so on). So I'd like to know how both pilot and pro versions are regarding this damage/failure simulation. I'd want to be sure that the failure feature in the pro version is not a "simple" failure trigger that fails systems after random or preset time, but reacts to the pilot's misbehaviour.
