SAPI5 Voices on Win10

Featured Replies

Hi there, is anyone been able to use third party SAPI5 voices on Windows 10 with VoxATC 7? I used a Loquendo pack with Win7/VoxATC 6, but I can't use them now. Even IVONA doesn't work. They are perfectly recognized by SAPI5 applications, but not by Windows control panel or VoxATC.

I bought a few from CereProc and, while not cheap, they do work well and Windows 10 sees them fine.

Both IVONA and CereProc Voices work with Win 10 and VOXATC.  What versions   of the voices did you install, 32 bit or 64 bit?  See the VOXATC website:

Be aware that 32 bit voices will not work with VoxATC for Prepar3D V4 as this is a 64 bit application

BTW, since the 32 bit voices are not needed for the P3d V4 version, the registry edits are much simpler.

Good to know - thanks!

So this is the problem, I'll have to look up some 64 bit versions and try...
