August 10, 20178 yr Hello, I like to fly the aircraft manually, especially when landing, but everytime I try it the aircraft noses down. While I maintain horizontal flight there is no problem (although fly by wire doesn't keep the pitch with the joystick neutral), but once I start descending the aircraft insists in nosing down. I have to pull the joystick backwards to maintain the pitch, more and more, up to a point where I crash or it is not possible to flare. The only way I have found is to start the descending automatically, and switch to manual once stablished and stabilized, it works then, but I'd like to fly whole manual landings (a visual or VOR one, for example), but it's impossible. Thanks in advance
August 10, 20178 yr It sounds as if the sim is not automatically trimming the aircraft - does the add-on accurately simulate auto trim? OR, when you say you're flying manually have you somehow turned off the fly by wire too and therefore have to trim the plane yourself? I don't have the plane, I'm just offering general ideas based on what you described. Oh, and WELCOME to AVSIM! Well, the fly by wire works while climbing and leveled, although not very well. While climbing it doesn't keep the pitch and bank accurately and have to fix them every now and then. The problem starts when I descend to intercept the ILS, that it starts pitching down more and more. If I use the autopilot and the FCU and switch to manual once stablished on the G/S and stabilized it works, more or less. How can I see whether the fly by wire is working?

Hopefully someone with better knowledge of the add-on will join in with the thread. Good luck.
