August 14, 20178 yr Sorry if this is a known issue, but when i searched the forum, nothing came up. Im running P3D v4 on Win10. When I start up P3D and get to the start menu, the time i set in the date and time window doesnt take effect. I just tried starting it up, and the time in the date time window was the current system time of: 18:50. So i changed it down to 14:50. But when the sim loaded up, the time was 18:50. I tried going to the options and deselecting the "use system time" option, same issue. I tried different aircraft, same issue. Any ideas? Is this a known thing?
August 15, 20178 yr In the settings you have an option to force the sim to the system time, try disabling it. there is also FS real time which is quite a nice and cheap addon : http://www.3dsoftworks.net/products/fsrealtime/
August 15, 20178 yr p3d has reached v4 but the time function in startup screen continues to be quirky/broken. Make a change to the location like a different runway or parking spot before changing time. Also use local time as GMT does not work properly.
