Problems with P3Dv4, VoxAtc in Norway

Here is what happens when I fly in Norway, whatever the airport and whatever the aircrafts (native or not).

When I contact control (ground, tower or anything else), to have an answer I have to systematically repeat the operation twice "press to talk then talk" and again "press to talk then talk" . If I do it only once (as normally) Vox ignores me.

However if I let the FO handle the comms, Vox works normally.

I first thought of a problem with the assignment of the joystick or my keyboard, it is not the case because if I fly in US Vox works as expected ! I do not have to repeat the procedure twice.

At this time I do not know if this is a problem spread all over Europe, I have not yet tested in a country other than Norway.

Has anyone ever encountered this problem ?

You may have the PTT key assigned to do something else.  Make sure whatever you've set that to in VoxATC, you clear any other assignments for it in P3D and other addons.

Thank you Gridley but it's the first thing I verified. I have this problem also with the "SPACE" key...and like I wrote this "glitch" don't occurs if I fly anywhere in US regardless of aircrafts (native or not).

Ok, I made many tests in England, Germany, United States. All work well...

Curiously the problem seems occurs only in Norway !!

If possible, I will be very grateful if someone could make a try to ENBR with a FP for example. Just to see if this is me or Vox...

Richard, I have the same issue in Orbx Norway P3D V4. No success (the issue you described above: no speech recognition, always have to push PTT twice): Alta ENAT (default Orbx Norway), Tromso ENTC (Aerosoft), Bergen ENBR (Aerosoft). However it does work in ENGM Oslo (Aerosoft)!

I will try to contact the Designer of VoxATC and will let you know when I got feedback.

Thank you Thomas for your report ! I was beginning to doubt about the integrity of my configuration...

It seems that we are the only two to fly in Norway with VoxAtc...(Sarcasms mod ON) or maybe it is possible that many do not even know where this country is located. (Sarcasms mod OFF).

Anyway, your remark about ENGM Oslo (Aerosoft) is very interesting. This could be the beginning of a track to find the origin of the "glitch" (maybe airports or VoxAtc issue).

I had already made a report to the author but I have so far had no answer.

I think it would be very useful if you contact the author also. In my report I could not highlight the fact that VoxAtc works for example with ENGM Oslo (Aerosoft). All my FSX airports are not yet compatible with P3Dv4.

Hi Richard, unfortunately I'm currently grounded for a couple of days due to construction work on my house. Did you have a chance already to test our favourite flying places with 7.41?

Just had a flawless PMDG 737 flight from ENAT to ENTC. Glad to be able to fly in Norway again!
