I'm having CTD due to API.DLL in 90% of the flights when flying over the SOCAL ORBX scenery. I lowered my graphics settings in P3D with no success. Can you detail the method you used to fix your CTD?

I think the appi.dll error can have different causes. In my case, the sim did not like a scenery entry that was done via a add-on.xml and not via the classic way via the scenery.cfg.

Do you have any scenery or traffic files in your scenery library that was added by using the add-on.xml method? If yes, you could try to deactivate said add-on.xml in its location by renaming it to add-on.off and see how it goes.
