Anyone who's installed GE

Featured Replies

HI, can't get GE to install. Gives run-time error 372. COMDLG32.OCX out of date. I've run vbrun60sp6 exe. The window comes up and then is gone so fast, I don't think it's working properly. I then did start/run RegSvr32 COMDLG32.OCX. This gave the message "DllRegisterserver in COMDLG32OCX succeeded. During this I did all the reboot,uninstall/reinstall as advised by GE support. Still no go. Would someone be kind enough to check their ver. of COMDLG32.OCX. It resides in C/windows/system32. My ver. is 5.0.37.14 I would be very gratefull for any help.Russell.

I don't have GE but my COMDLG32.OCX is version 6.1.97.82 with a comment date of February 23, 2004. I have no idea what the latest version is but you can get this one at http://pvland.cz/freeware/files/comdlg32.zip . May be worth a try. Can't hurt anything.Doug
