GTN mod, but in a different spot

Recommended Posts

Forgive me if this has been asked before. I tried a quick search and wasn't able to find anything.

Is there a way to install the GTN and cover the radio stack in the CJ2? From my understanding having the GTN installed makes the radio stack redundant.

Not Bert, but I'll try to help.

Chances are the switches, knobs, buttons, etc of the existing radios are "molded" into the panel BMP. So while you could position the GTN over the radios those same switches, knobs, buttons, etc would show through and be clickable. Tried this same thing in the Phenom 100 autopilot and the result was disappointing.

Thanks for the reply Twenty6. Sad to hear that it's not possible.
