Success - Photoreal scenery

One thing to check, did you set it to create seasonal textures as well? That certainly adds a lot of overhead to the process, and so I don't bother with the seasonal textures. 

I found OrthoXP faster and easier to run than FSET, with even better output, but one drawback is it hides buildings in my Bay Area scenery, even with overlays selected.  I've also tried installing other Scenery, like the freeware San Francisco scenery, but it won't load, it keeps looking for some other files and I don't know where to get them, I added the files they suggested, still doesn't work.  The output is good, very nice for VFR flight, kind of homey, if you know what I mean.  But I'd like to repopulate it with buildings, rather than reinstall it again.  There must be a step I have missed in the project, otherwise it turned out well, if you look at my Napa Valley post in the screenshots forum.

Yup make sure you copy make the overlay and copy the yOverlay (or something like that) into your scenery folder. 

Also check out XOrganiser, great scenery and plugin organiser =)
