Flaps Speeds on Aerosoft A321

Featured Replies

The FO seems to have the wrong speed tables for the flaps on the Aerosoft A321.

Even though the speed has decreased below the yellow marking on the PFD when I call for the next flap setting (Flaps 2, 3 and 4) the FO responds "Speed to high for desired flaps". The speed has to decrease 5 to 15 kts below the yellow marking before he is willing to extend the flaps.

On the Aerosoft A318, A319, and A320 this works fine and the FO's speed table is in line with the yellow markings. Just with the A321 something is wrong.

Apart from fixing the speed table how about an option to make the FO extend the flaps even though he thinks the speed is too high? He should ask for confirmation "Speed too high, are you positive? / please confirm" and then extend the flaps anyway if I confirm the command.

Makes sense. Will be done in next update.
