March 4, 200620 yr My nephew is leaving Newark this evening for Madrid. Since they're flying a 767 and I have the Level-D bird I would like to shadow the flight with FS2004. My question is will the flight plan created by FS be the same or near the same plan flown by Continental? If not is there a way I can get the closest plan? Thanks,Jim

March 4, 200620 yr Hi Jim,Once the domestic portion from KIAH lands at KEWR, you can use this to check the flightplan and the aircraft track:http://flightaware.com/live/flight/COA62Jim Karnhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/pmdg_pf.jpg
March 5, 200620 yr Thanks all for the guidance. I'll be tracking with Jim's link this evening (and flying along in FS). I'll be glad when he gets there and glad when he gets home. He's a college freshman going with his university's orchestra for a week of playing in Spain. What a great life experience.Jim
March 5, 200620 yr The standard route we use is the NEWARK 7 DEPARTURE; thence radar vectors MERIT; thence HFD PUT to the coast-out point; thence the most efficient NAT (North Atlantic Track)to the coast-in point. This all varies with the jetsream. The NATS of course change daily.
