But they'd never released a product with more than one model variation before, either.
March 6, 200620 yr >How about a Turbo Prop 210 and 206! :DNo, thank you.No performance increase is worth looking like that.
March 6, 200620 yr "Knowing Carenado, they'd release a wheeled version by itself, then add float, ski and tundra models in seperate packages every couple months and charge you for all of 'em so the whole shebang will cost at least 50% more than the Aerosoft package when you'r finally through, then they'd refuse to answer any customer e-mails and hose the repainters with mystifying texture mod policies. :( :-roll"Hasn't been my experience with them. Picked up the Piper 180 package, which included aircraft with wheelpants, without, with one pax, and with two. And since it was part of a "web special", I picked up that and the 182 for something like 29-30 bucks for both aircraft. I've had no problem finding repaints (so repainters must be managing). So to me it seemed like one of the better bargains for payware of this quality.-John
March 6, 200620 yr "Never. But they'd never released a product with more than one model variation before, either."Please see my reply below. I believe the 180 preceded the 206. "Variation" is a relative term, certainly, but I was satisfied. Their pricing is quite competitive given their attention to detail. -John

March 6, 200620 yr You misunderstand me. When I say different model variations, I mean substantial differences - until the 206, they'd never made an aircraft in landplane and floatplane versions, etc. If they charged for an expansion to take the wheel pants off or change the number of passengers, they'd be crucified by much of the community, and rightly so.
March 6, 200620 yr >I can't fathom what problem everybody has with the VC. You're>aware they made a lot of improvements to it in the first patch>after the original release, right? I remember people>complaining when the plane was first out, but they reworked>it. Even with all of the updates I still find the VC to be very poor. It is night and day in terms of quality when compared to what else is out there in the payware category. Just my opinion.
