Got to have the registered version to adjust vis settings.Greg

Sorry, busy here setting up a laptop (yuck! So much garbage running in the background the poor thing can barely... compute). This is all a matter of personal preference, Chase, but here's a jpg of my Visibilty page in FSUIPC:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/144405.jpgGreg

Poor, poor laptop... :-lolThanks Greg. Ive messed with the visibility settings for a few minutes now. I have something i like, but im going to try yours out too. Thanks for your help, bro! Ill let you know how it goes.

Cool. Post some screenies in the SS forum once you get it dialed in the way you like it.Greg

Thanks Chase, they look nice. The more important question is how do you like the changes? The settings I offered earlier work well for me in most situations... but how is the sim doing for you now?Cheers,Greg

As long as I'm below the clouds in VFR, its really nice. But when i pull above the ceeling, the visibility is lower than what it would be in real life. Im happy with the change, I just wish i could get the visibility above the clouds higher.

But when i pull above the ceeling, the visibility is lower than what it would be in real life.Take some time to read Peter's Readme for FSUIPC (that will take some time LOL). You can tweak this to your preference as well.My wish... that Chris' "Brownish" haze in Active Environment be more brownish. Where I live (and sim most of the time... the western part of the U.S.) it's still too white, just as depicted in your screenshots). You should continue playing with the AE and FSUIPC settings until you get somehting you're happy with. It's all a matter of personal perception and taste.Have fun,Greg

Well I quit AE some time ago and went to AS6. Ill read Peter's Novel over the next few days and see what i get. :)Where in the states are you, btw? Houston for me. :)
