Hi all,

I just purchased the Beaver and installed in P3D v4. I load the default flight (F22). Then I select to load the Beaver, and all I get is a crash to desktop (CTD). Is there anything I can do to fix this? 

Any idea or suggestion would be very welcome !

Did you follow the instructions on how to install this product?

No AV on download and install.  Make sure AV is not scanning the sim directory.  UAC off.  Running the sim as Admin. Making sure you have all of the necessary libs installed.  Making sure that, if you have it, the estonia tool is totally disabled.

If you did all of these things, and still have issues, then please read page one of the manual for assistance on how to get help.

Hello Milviz. Thank you very much for the reply. Unfortunately I have done all steps you mentioned and have no success.I have no AV, UAC is off, I always start P3D as admin.

The problem is I don't have access to the forum yet, so I can't see the "Redistributables" help page on the bottom of this.

Page one is where you contact oisin at milviz dot com with your proof of purchase.  You'll have to wait till then.

FYI, if you're running win 10, you've got windows defender on.  You'll have to disable it.

Have you run the configurator yet? If not, run it and select some options, then try again. Also, if you have P3D configured to go directly to the flight, set it to stop at the scenario configuration screen so you can select the Beaver before going into the flight.

Thank you for your replies. However nothing worked so far. I disabled Windows defender, uninstalled, re-installed. CTD upon selecting the airplane. I always start P3D in scenario menu screen. Even if I select it before I start a flight and load the scenario, again the sim crashes. I have also used the configurator, it doesn't change anything no matter what I select. Something is very wrong here...Any ideas how I can resolve this? I bought the plane but can't use it...

Ok, it seems something was wrong with my P3Dv4 installation. I double clicked the "delete generated files" file in the P3Dv4 directory, and the beaver is loading fine now. Thank you for your support! :)
