How to create new Config for my personal liveries

Recommended Posts

I all,

I have created 3 personal liveries for my 747-400 V3. using PMDG paint kit,

UTA F-GEXA

Air Mauritius  3B-NZA

Spirit Wings N1876

 I read in pdf  PMDG introduction page 78. "Each livery comes with a pre-defined definition "ini file".

and I don't  have obviously  ini file for these planes; see image 2 jpg

VVDpd8.jpg

 And I try to create configuration as explained in the documentation, but impossible.??
That's where I need help.

I modified the file aircraft.cfg as usual
For  example my UTA 747 F-GEXA

[fltsim.3]

title=PMDG 747-428 UTA (F-GEXA | 2017)

sim=B747-400_GE

texture=UTA

atc_airline=UTA

atc_id=F-GEXA

atc_flight_number=882

as you can see in Figure 3 the "Fixed Config" is VH-OEI
I type N1876 ( my Spirit wings) for my personal config for my plane, and in image 3.2 here is the result  after pressing the R5 key

You can see in picture UTA jpg in PMDG Operation Center my UTA don't have tail number??

0ipyz1.jpg

When I select one of my three personal repaint UTA- Air Mauritius and Spirit Wings I still have Fixed Config "Fixed Config" is VH-OEI and cannot change???

Excuse my bad English, I speak well  four other languages  but I have problems with English. sorry.

Thanks in advance for help

Copy VH-OEI three times in Windows Explorer.

Rename the first one F-GEXA, the second one 3B-NZA, and the third one N1876.

The next time you load the sim, it should load with that tail number's settings, which you can then modify as you want.
