October 12, 20178 yr I am interested in overclocking my 4720hq from base speed to 3.5GHz. I tried to use Intel XTU, but it didnt change anything. Can someone tell me where I can find information how to overclock ? And since FSX/P3D are still primarily based on single core performance, will it be more benifical to do a single core OC ? will this reduce the overall CPU temp ? It was also recommended to use thermal paste to help with cooling. How often does the paste have to be reapplied ?
