October 17, 20178 yr FSX SE just crashed mid flight for me. When i tried to start up the sim later it just refuses to start. When i start the game it shows me the startup screen, asks me if i want to start Chaseplane, as it normally does, then i get an error message from windows and then FSX closes. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? I've never experienced it before. Thanks in advance
October 17, 20178 yr As stated in the AVSIM CTD Guide, the first things to load are your modules which are in the dll.xml. If one of those modules is corrupted, incompatible, missing or the entry is incorrect, FSX will not start. Page 30 provides more causes.
