FSNavigator - Problem Opening FSNav

Featured Replies

I just purchase the 4.7 version of FSNavigator. With my FS9 running,I press the FS9 key, and nothing happens. I have waited up to 5 minutes, and still FSNav does not appear. I continue to toggle the FS9 key, and sometimes after 15 minutes FSNav appears.I have a fairly powerful system. Dell XPS Pentium IV 3.06 GHZ chip2GB of SDRAm256 Nvida GForce 6600 graphics card. One time I had FS9 on "Pause", and then pressed the FS9 key, and FSNav came right on. Does anyone have any suggestions? I cannot believe it is normal to have this problem in getting FSNav to come on.Thank you.Stanner

Never heard of that before. Have you tried starting FSNAV from the flights menu at the top left of the screen?JimCYWG

Jim,Thank you. I went to the Flight Menu, and clicked on FS Nav, and FSNav came on instantly!Again, thanks.Stanner

You keep saying the FS9 key, it is the F9 key that activates it, correct?

Make sure you have not assigned the F9 key to some other function in FS.

Yes I have the F9 key assigned to lowering stairs on my PMDG.Thanks. I will change this.Stanner
