Hi Michael, If you download that scenery you will see in the readmefirst.txt file that the names of the group are listed, and that they obtained permission from the original creator. Cheers!

There is a new scenery from MFSG available at Simmarket - OBBI Bahrain. Another excellent rendition by one of the very few scenery developers still supporting FS2004.

Thanks for the heads up Greg. I have purchased and installed the scenery. It looks very good, but I have no airline AI traffic at the terminal gates (only a couple of Cesnna 185s!). I thought it would be packed with Dash-8s? Can you confirm this, or is my system to blame?

The same message is in the Manual.pdf file in the "UK2000\Gatwick Xtreme" folder. I guess we knew this was coming eventually.

Harald, The documentation states that crash detection should be turned off, so I guess this is the same as his other projects. Nevertheless, it is not bad looking scenery at first glance, although I had to download some AI traffic files to get any actual planes appearing.

I doubt we will see it, as they had previously stated they would not be doing any more FS9 sceneries. Nevertheless I have sent them an email (I don't have a facebook account either and have no intention of starting one).

Unfortunately, ImagineSim have recently stated on their facebook that they will no longer be doing FS9 sceneries.

I have all the Swedflight products (from when they were payware), and the AFCAD files do indeed exist. They were released as a separate package, I think they were created by Project AI (PAI).

There are two PSS fonts on my system (not sure which is for MCDU): Baloo.ttf IRS_____.ttf

FSDT no longer support FS9, so any update will only be for FSX/P3D.

Err - that scenery was released back in 2010 - so it's not really news.

Harald, Thank you for your suggestion! I should have thought of AES being the issue. All looks much better now. I hope Oliver can produce an AES update for us soon.

Harald, No - there is something weird happening on my system. The building (Pulkovo 1) is there in the original scenery, but when I remove that and install the new version, it is not there at all - although there is a dark outline in the ground texture of where it should be. It is as if there is a file missing. I'm afraid I don't know how to attach images to posts!
