Xplane broke my scenery

Glad you got something cooking, V4 sounds good! And then maybe ... California UHD :D

Currently giving X-Plane 12.10 a spin on Shadow PC. 10 years with X-Plane now, since 10.20

I finished rebuilding my scenery, replacing Bing as the source with USA-2.  LIke the USA-2 source better, the colors are more muted, less vibrant.  So far no issues with files disappearing, and I've turned off Network Discovery in case some Malware was exploiting a hole in my system.  I scanned with Spybot and cleaned up some garbage.

I reinstalled Xplane and all sorts of weird things started to happen after I installed the beta

...and exactly this is why no one should install beta versions unless THEY KNOW what they're getting into. I don't understand people who get into Betas than complain that it crashes, or it slow... The point of Beta releases is to have bugs. I they wouldn't have bugs, they would be called Stable releases. If you are never intended to provide meaningful bug reports to Laminar, then wait until more advanced users get through the Beta phase, and grab the Stable release, once it becomes available. It never takes a long time.
