October 28, 20178 yr Hi, i am new to this site... Everytime I try and load up a flight on final approach in FSX-SE, the thrust in my Aerosoft A320 takes about 10 seconds for it to kick in. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks.
October 28, 20178 yr I know the A320 isn't a particularly large airliner with large engines (GE90s for example), the turbines will still take time to spool up. I have a similar thing happening when I load in a saved flight, despite the autopilot and autothrottles being activated (currently have two ongoing flights - one with a 747-400 and one with an A330-300). October 29, 20178 yr I'm not sure. Can you have the flight start further away from the runway? Are you starting these practice approaches with the autopilot and autothrottles engaged? If so, then try disconnecting the autothrottle, manually go to full throttle to stabiise the airpseed quicker, then reactivate the autothrottle. That may work.
