Kneeboard CTD ... HELP!!!

Featured Replies

Greetings, I know this has been covered in many other forums, I have been reading on trying to correct this all day... To no avail, I have been un-successful!When I try to open up the kneeboard either by hitting F10 or under the Aircraft tab I get a black screen and then viola CTD! I read about removing viewmgr.exe , I searched for it via instructions written on how to remove said program. I do not have viewmgr.exe any where. I am at a loss, I am no way un-installing and re-installing FS9 because I can not open my kneeboard. I just purchased FS2CREW Level-D 767 add-on and the kneeboard I believe is a must ... Opening the kneeboard or trying to before this purchase still crashed FS9. Hope there is a resolve, I hear great things about FS2Crew Level-D addon, would hate to ask for a re-fund!PLEASE HELP.. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!Thanks!!! 737FlyBoyFly-Boy Video Productionsgeardown3green.com (Coming on-line late April, 2006) Stay-Tuned!

Hello Fly Boy,The full FS2Crew Tutorial (same one that is viewable via the Kneeboard) is also available in the FS2Crew 767 Manual PDF file.So to make a long story short, you do not need the FS9 Kneeboard to use FS2Crew 767. As for your Kneeboard crash issue: I've also heard that Internet Explorer 7 Beta causes issues with the FS9 Kneeboard, so if you have IE7 Beta, you might want to uninstall it.Hope that helps,Bryan

Bryan, Thank you for your response. I am very happy that I do not have to ask for a refund! I have been using FS2Crew 767 a bit and I am AMAZED! Great work! A must have for what I have seen/heard/done!Ya, I have IE7beta - Good ol Microsoft wont let you un-install it and revert back to IE6 unless I did a complete reformat... Thats not going to happen! Thanks again737FlyBoyJohn StolarzFly-Boy Video Productionswww.geardown3green.com (Coming on-line end of April 2006) Stay tuned!
