October 31, 20178 yr It has been a few years since I've used an FTX Region. And I remember at that time, due to simulator limitations, there was a hybrid mode of flying outside of the region. It still looked good, but you lost some of the custom autogen. The recent announcement of FTX Netherlands and Germany already being out has me eager to get back into using them. My question is, was Orbx able to overcome the need for a hybrid mode with P3Dv4?

My question is, was Orbx able to overcome the need for a hybrid mode with P3Dv4? yep. hybrid mode has been gone for a while, they did a big patch that changed how textures were assigned so there is no longer any region switching. they are all active all the time... since last summer 2016 or so. works the same for fsx and p3d. cheers,-andy crosby
