November 2, 20178 yr Hi, GTN can export to fltsim format only. i would like to export it on a format that GTN can import. (like GNS can do with export flightplan function on catalog menu) why ? Because i would like to export Flightplan created on a first unit and import it on the second unit (as a workaround for crossfill not available). November 2, 20178 yr Hi, This is not possible at this time. The flight plan saved for ATC purposes (the new feature in v2.4.9) is 'massaged' to make it load in FltSim. In effect, FltSim requires the first and last point be 'airport' type for the flight planning loader to function properly. We might be able to 'export' a 'less' transformed flight plan file, but it won't be exactly the same anyhow. Easiest is planning the flight beforehand, saving to the GTN .gfp file, then importing in both.
November 2, 20178 yr Author Sure, i prefer to have export to fltsim for ATC, it's a great feature ! i always prepare my flight with Skyvector so it will not be a problem to save a GFP file to import on both unit. Thanks for reply :) Regards, i9-10850k - Asus Tuf Z490+ - 32 Go DDR4 - RTX 3070 8Go MSI Trio X
