Wheel brakes are being funny

Featured Replies

Hey guys

Basically what's happening is when I am pressing my assigned button on my joystick (saitek x52) the brakes apply but for a split second and then release even if i am holding the button down, very confused as i can't think what has gone wrong

If you check your brake function in the controls list, is the slider for the joystick button over to the right?

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱
Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!

Is the same thing happening when you use the keyboard key for Brakes  (I think this is "." by default) ..??

Also, check in the axis assignement list (for all controllers) that NO axis is assigned to  left or right brakes.
Because if FSX sees any event related to proportinal left of right brake, it will disable the normal (button or key) Brakes function.
