Do you think it could be possible in a future version to have an option which draw an extended center line for any runway. The runway could be choosen by clicking on the airport.

not sure if this is needed because you can use the "Measure Rhumb distance from here" in the map context menu to place any kind of guide lines on the map. If they start at a navaid they will also show frequency and ident.
