Panning With Hat Switch

Featured Replies

Hello,

Just purchased and installed CP the other day which i like very much. I have a question regarding panning in the VC with the joystick hat switch. Currently I'm using the hat switch to switch camera views which works perfectly but was just wondering if it is also possible to use the hat switch in conjunction with the trigger switch to pan in the VC and switch between camera views only using the hat switch. The reason I'm asking is with a competitors software I was able to achieve this. Any help would be much appreciated. My using P3D v4.1

Thanks,

You cannot combine joystick controls in the current version of ChasePlane.

But, you can assign key combinations and use Macros generated by another software. It’s not a straightforward solution but it works.

We want to update the entire control system after v1 to enable support for this feature among other things.

Panning with the hat switch works for me but with problems.

In VC it makes a millisecond jitter as if it tries to load first a 2D main view panel and then it pans.

In external view on every click of any of the 4 directions of the hat switch is restarts from rear (6 o clock) view. Whatever I've tried I cannot fix this.
