Multi Crew Experience and Radar Contact

Featured Replies

I have just purchased Radar Contact and am waiting on a key, so I was wondering if there is anything special that I need to do in RC4 in order to use the two programs together in FSX:SE.  Thanks for the help.

Hi Rodger,

The old advice was to spend time reading the manual. That still holds. RC4 needs the location of the FSX-SE.EXE and the folder containing your flight plans. That's pretty much it.

One thing. If you have a spare PC consider installing RC4 on that and running it via WideFS (payware) by Pete Dowson. You can use ShowText (freeware available on Pete's site) to show the RC menu. Far better than running on the main FS PC.

Thanks Ray.  I've been reading over the manual.  Unfortunately I don't have a spare PC to use to put RC4 on.  How much of a hassle will it be running RC4 without it?  Just curious how long should I wait for a key before emailing Doug?

Hi Rodger,

No problem running RC on the same PC as FS. Modern CPUs are powerful enough to cope.

If you haven’t received your key by now then the formatting was wrong as it’s an automated process. Either try again or contact Doug.

Thanks, just sent Doug an email.
