Has anyone worked out what causes P3Dv4 to freeze ever so often when in VR.

I don’t get these freezes when simming with the 4K TV but pop into VR and I’ll see the freezes again.

I assume it’s related to P3Dv4 needing to catch up.

Hi All,

For those that get the occasional SIM pauses when using VR. And pause I mean, when looking through the VR everything goes dark and a flashing pause symbol is shown while on the monitor/TV the SIM picture is frozen.

I found the fix (for me at least) was to move the Tessellation slide to low. (far left) I guess this makes sense as it moves some of the graphic work back to the CPU. 

FSIPC was the main reason causing the pausing of the SIM. I didn’t notice any pauses when not in VR.

However Ive stopped the saving of flights now and I don’t get any more “waiting for SIM” when using Flyinside or SIM pausing when in Native VR.
