November 30, 20178 yr Hi, I'm pleased to announce v2.3.7 is now released! It is available either via Plugin | Reality XP GNS | Check Updates... or directly from our web site. Thank you again for your feedback with the release candidates! In this update: Fixed: CPU affinity setting not working. Fixed: NAV IDENT knob with PFC Hardware. In the previous update: New: IDENT mode: overrides NAV1/2 audio panel if active (compatible with GTN+GNS V2 on the same panel) Fixed: Power Knob logic bug introduced in previous version. Fixed: Avionics bus / battery bus problem introduced in the last update. Enhanced: Further stability and performance enhancements.
December 3, 20178 yr Just realized that the IDENT doesn't seem to work when pushing the knob on my PFC avionics stack \GNS430....but the mouse interface does work. Tom
December 3, 20178 yr Author Hi IFRPilot, thank you for the report. I confirm this is an oversight, and it will be corrected in the next update!
December 8, 20178 yr Author Hi, Please note: when using the PFC 430 hardware with a 530, the COM volume knob push triggers the VNAV button as a convenience (because there is no VNAV button on the 430). When using it with a 430, it does nothing. The NAV volume knob has been connected to NAV volume push, aka IDENT mode in v2.3.7 now. It wasn't used in prior versions. What PFC hardware are you using exactly?
December 8, 20178 yr I using the Digital Avionics Standard (without Remote instrument Console option) https://flypfc.com/shop/avionics/digital-avionics-standard/ Tom
December 8, 20178 yr Author This is puzzling because we're using the same 430 controller for dev (the one with the ALT-PRE-SELECT buttons). Are you sure it has installed? Can you cross check file version at the OS level: "XPlane\resources\plugins\rxpGNS\64\win.xpl" ? as well as the version number in the "Documents\rxpGNS.xpl.log" file?
December 9, 20178 yr rxpGNS.xpl.log version 2.3.7.0 win.xpl dated March 9, 2016 (I was unable to get the version #) USBHidplugin version 4.4.6.378 X-Plane 9.7 Tom
December 9, 20178 yr Author Hi, PFC support for RXP devices comes through PFCHidReports.dll, v3.1.0.56, which was available for our legacy "Hardware Driver" customers. The file is expected to be in: "C:\ProgramData\Reality XP" Therefore, I'm not sure about this USBHidplugin you're referring to. Where does it come from?
December 10, 20178 yr Yes, I'm using PFCHidReports.dll version 3.1.0.56 as well. The USBHidplugin version is just for your information. It's the driver for my PFC C2 console. I have reinstalled v2.3.7 a few times. I have also checked the hardware using PFC Test GUI to confirm the IDENT knob. Tom
December 13, 20178 yr Author Ok, I confirm there is a bug and this is fixed for the next update! Thank you for your feedback!
